Mrs. Evelyn Sample Crane, 44, of 200 1/2 E. Market St., died at the Liter Nursing Home Saturday at 11:30 a.m. after a two-year illness. The daughter of Hardy and Arrilla Bowman Wildman, she was born Jan. 18, 1913 near Champaign, Ill. She was married to Lloyd Rudisill and later to Albert Crane, who survives. A member of the Wallace Lutheran Church, Mrs. Crane had lived in the Crawfordsville community the last 11 years and before that in Wallace. Surviving in addition to the husband is her mother of Wallace, a daughter, Mrs. Deloris Burrough of Crawfordsville, a sister Mrs. Mabel Zackmire of Wallace, a step-brother Seward Wildman of Mecca and two grandsons. Her father and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Wallace Lutheran Church with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in the Church cemetery. Friends may call at the Russel E. Brown Mortuary after 4 p.m. Monday. The body will lie in state at the church an hour preceding the funeral service.
